Our aim is to find the best talents across the nation and nurture their talent. We want to encourage the youth to be able to dream big and achieve big. With these great films we wish to expand the horizons of our audiences and advance the impact of their work in the world.

ELIGIBILITY AND RULES FOR SUBMISSION

The Critics’ Choice Awards 2021 is open ONLY to citizens of India. In cases where multiple parties (residing within and outside of India) are stakeholders in the Series, either the director or the partner or producer must be a citizen and a current resident of India.

The age of the Participant(s) must be 18 years or above. 

Series that have been uploaded on any OTT platform during the months preceding the ‘call for entries’ shall alone be considered for the Awards (i.e. Eligibility period of 1st October 2019 to 31st  October 2020). *This date could change depending on when we announce the ‘call for entries’

All Series that are submitted must be shared in their original language with English subtitles. Every episode in the Series must have English subtitles. The cost of inclusion of subtitles is the sole responsibility of the Participant(s).

If your Series has only been uploaded on YOUTUBE or a public link/ social media/ private circulation and NOT on an OTT platform, it will NOT be considered for the awards.

If the Series has had multiple seasons, only the season that aired between the eligibility period of 1st October 2019 to 31st October 2020 will be considered for the awards.

If the Series has had multiple seasons, only the season that aired between the eligibility period of  1st October 2019 to 31st  October 2020 will be considered for the awards.

Along with this eligibility form, the participants/platforms have also received a sheet where information about the series they are submitting will need to be filled.  

The sheet contains sections like Date of release, directors, producers, platform it has released on, which season is being submitted for the awards, etc, and other information required by the committee to process the submission.

Apart from those sections, there is also a section called AWARD CATEGORIES in the sheet. In this section, the participants/platforms can suggest ONE-THREE NOMINEES for the following categories- BEST ACTOR, BEST ACTRESS. 

The participants can nominate between ONE to FIVE NOMINEES for BEST SUPPORTING ACTOR, BEST SUPPORTING ACTRESS AND BEST WRITING.

Once the sheet has been submitted it cannot be changed.

The Critics’ Choice Awards  committee will consider the information in the sheet as final and will vote on the Series based on the information submitted.

*Please note, the CCA will review all the applications and the shortlist will be based on the committee’s evaluation process.
